Ok, I love my job. I was sent to Fry’s today to pick some stuff up for an executive coming in tomorrow (they PAY me to go gadget shopping)

Anyway, my colleague CJ and I where looking for long network cables and found this:

The sad thing: The display was mostly sold out. People will buy ANYTHING!

Sheesh.

Wow, the dow drops 777 point and my stock portfolio as well as my 401k are hemorrhaging. While wallering in my sorrow, I took a break to read one of my favorite news aggregation sites fark.com and found this:

Hey again everyone,

As you probity know, I live by 3 rules:

People, as a rule, are stupid

Never argue with a stupid person, they drag you down to their level and beat you with experance.

Build a man a fire, keep him warm for a day. Set a man on fire and keep him warm for the rest of his life.

People tell me that I may be slightly demented, but hey…

Well, I picked up number four today:

Some people are like slinkies – Not really good for anything, but they bring a smile to your face when pushed down the stairs.

It’s slightly twisted, but it certainly fits me.
